I understand how unnerving it can be to start a new relationship with a new hairstylist. I would like to put that anxiety to rest for you. You are in a safe place with Jamie Kelley Hair where you will be heard, understood, and cared for before any service takes place. Your peace of mind is of the utmost importance.
Every appointment starts with a thorough consultation where we will discuss your hair care and service history, take stock of where your hair is currently and what your desires moving forward are.
I will offer solutions and share ideas on how to achieve your goals, all while you relax in comfort.
I welcome all questions and will answer them honestly. Please feel free to send me any
questions you may have ahead of time or have them ready at your appointment.
A variety of complimentary snack and refreshment offerings are available at every appointment.

How should I arrive for my appointment?
Haircut
It is preferred that I am able to see your hair in it's most natural state. Having been washed within 36hrs, arriving dry and styled down with out any clips, braids, ponytails, etc. is best. This will help me determine what your hair will do naturally within a haircut. If you smooth iron or curl your hair regularly, it is fine to arrive with that styling so I can assess what might be or what might not be working for your styling. Please send me any questions you may have.
Color Services
Please arrive with your hair completely dry, having been washed within 24hrs of your appointment, styled down with out any clips, braids, ponytails etc. Newer hair color lines are more gentle and work best on clean hair. This will also allow me to do an exact color match so formulations are more accurate. Seeing your hair in it's natural state will also allow me to see how colors will look with your natural style. If you smooth iron or curl your hair regularly, it is fine to arrive with that styling so I can assess what might or might not work for your color application. Please send me any questions you may have.
Consultation
Let me put your mind at ease during this 30 minute consultation. During this time, we will discuss your hair care and service history, take stock of where your hair is currently and what your desires are moving forward. Together we will put together a road map of how to achieve your hair goals. This is the time to bring inspiration photos and any questions or concerns you may have. The $50 charge will be applied to your service that you book at the time of this appointment.

Color and Design Packages
Hair color doesn’t come in one form. A simple root touch up may take 2 or 3 color formulations to achieve the coverage and look desired. Because of this I have created Service Packages. Practices, if you will. Each Practice description offers common styling options. However, if you are finding it difficult to find the exact service you are looking for, please fill out the Appointment or Consultation Request Forms where you can share with me your goals and I will personally schedule your appointment appropriately.

My passion for precision haircutting started early on in my career. I look forward to serving my guests through artistic expression and honest connection. A lot of my haircuts start off or are completely performed on dry hair. Whether starting immediately following the consultation or after a massaging shampoo with a blow dry style. The details of your haircut will most come alive in these moments.
New Guest Haircut
As a New Guest, let me put your mind at ease. We will start with a thorough consultation where we will discuss your hair history along with your current lifestyle and goals. Only once we have agreed on the direction of your service will we move to a relaxing shampoo, your precision haircut, and finish with a blow dry style. Closing, we will discuss future booking opportunities and plans for future visits.

Always starting with a consultation, we will connect on how your last haircut and style held up and grew out while discussing what your current goals are. Moving into a relaxing shampoo with a scalp massage, your precision haircut and finish with a blow dry style.

Sometimes you don’t need a shampoo or a blow dry style. The Maintenance Haircut offers a customized refresh of your style without all the bells and whistles. Always starting with a consultation, we will connect on how your last haircut held up and grew while discussing what your current goals are. Moving into a precision dry haircut creating the detailed style you are looking for.
